ABOUT ME

hello!

my name is meg and i'm excited to enter the couch surfing world. i've only heard good things about people's experiences with cf so i'm looking forward to creating some of my own.

i'm living and working in vancouver right now and gearing up for a 9 month trip abroad. it all starts in santiago de compestela where i'll be meeting a friend who will be completing the St. James Way walk. After a sure to be magical tour of portugal, southern spain and hopefully morocco i'm off to madrid to meet up with my girlfriend who i've been apart from for 5 months. her and i will travel more of spain ending our month at a music festival in barcelona with headliner pj harvey. then it's a tour of sardinia where my girlfriend is from then off to berlin to set up shop until we come back to north america for xmas.

i'm beyond excited for this adventure; it's been almost 10 years since i've been overseas and i'm itching to be in completely new environments, to get myself out of my comfort zone and see how i do.

along with traveling other passions of mine are bike riding, music listening, food cooking, board game playing, beer drinking, karaoke singing, movie watching, shirt making and trivia hosting.

i hope to find some incredible hosts and see and experience cities in an authentic and underground way. i also would love to host when i'm finally back in vancouver.

had a bonfire and watched the stars in the middle of the desert in saudi arabia. i had no idea there were so many stars in the sky.
