Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I very infrequently host couchsurfers due to a very hectic work and school schedule, I wish to do more when I have more free time to be a good host. But I am in the couchsurfing community in Portland, OR. I have a lot of friends who host nearly every day and I hang out with them and their couchsurfers very often. Sometimes I will attend meet ups to hang out with my friends and meet new people. I really enjoy the couchsurfing community in Portland.

Interests

I love traveling and want to learn how to do it for the rest of my life. I'm also very passionate about people. I want to work in human and international relations. All I really want to do in life is help people.

My favorite book is the dystopian novel We. I also enjoy Murakami's novels. Currently I am studying and reading a lot of Latin American literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Crossing the Darien Gap is by far the coolest thing I have done. I've also reach the worlds largest city not reachable by road, Iquitos in the Amazon jungle, by 4 day long cargo boat ride. Visiting Isla del Sol in Lago Titicaca was also one of the most amazing things I've experienced, my friends and I got to participate in ceremonies and meditate with shamans. Visiting the island of
