ABOUT ME

My name is Megan Ilene. I'm 24 years young, and the travel bug has fiercely bitten me! I am married to a great man, live with another roomie, and have 2 of the zaniest cats ever. I'm an accounting clerk right now, but I am always looking for something where I can utilize the Spanish language and where I could move to a warmer, urban place. I love anything and everything latino, including music, culture, food, politics, and art. Creo que soy latina de corazón porque la cultura latina es más bien una actitud que una etnicidad. I do take a liking for other cultures as well, such as Italian, Finnish, and Eastern Indian.

PHILOSOPHY

As a former member of AFS, I understand how important and neat it is to open my house up without asking for anything, and for any interaction between cultures to be simply just an understanding that people all over are different and for living in such a diverse world, for which we are very lucky! Que viva la diferencia!
