Hey there! I'm Mehmet, originally from Turkey and currently living in Warsaw, Poland. I’m someone who loves trying new things, meeting new people, and getting to know different cultures. Traveling is something that truly makes me happy—it helps me escape the stress of daily life and gives me a fresh perspective every time.

I’m also a big foodie! Trying different cuisines is one of the things I enjoy most—it’s honestly more of a hobby than just eating to survive 😄

Even though I don’t have any Couchsurfing references yet, I’ve been part of the community for a while and really believe in what it stands for. I’m excited to finally be more active, meet kind people, and share good memories.

I listen to all kinds of music depending on my mood—sometimes pop, sometimes chill indie, and sometimes just random stuff I find on Spotify.

I enjoy movies that either make you think or just make you laugh. Big fan of thrillers, psychological, and anything with a good story. I’m always open to recommendations!

As for books, I wish I read more often, but when I do, I enjoy novels that take me to another world or books about psychology, mystery.

Moving to a new country (Poland) by myself was a big deal for me. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me a lot about independence, people, and life. Also, every solo trip I’ve taken felt amazing in its own way—those little moments of getting lost and finding something unexpected are the best.
