Hi travelers,

I am a Ph.D. student in music who lives in Ankara for over 12 years. I was born in Kayseri, a neighboring city to Cappadocia. I love hiking and traveling as it broadens my horizons and makes me contemplate on life. Seeing new places and meeting new people is a source of new ideas for an academic person like me.

I spend most of my time with my studies; reading papers on music theory, composition, music analysis and conducting. I conduct wind bands and choirs on and off, with no permanent affiliation yet. I also sing in an international choir named 'Ankara A Capella'. I also help the principal conductor with administration stuff.

I am married to one of the most fantastic women ever.

I believe in the fact that there are many good people on earth, and they wait for opportunities to show their kindness. This is true for both locals and travelers. Therefore, I travel and couch surf as much as I can to share ideas and life experience with those nice people.

Me and my wife hope to meet some of those people soon.
