ABOUT ME

I'm Megan Holstein, an entrepreneur and app developer out of columbus, ohio. I start new companies and software lines for a living, and have been named as one of 20 people to know in tech by columbus business first. The columbus YWCA has named me a woman to watch, and TechColumbus named me a finalist for their Tech Student Innovation awards. I'm seeking to be an entrepreneur across the country, and I want to get to know more about the wonderful country I live in.

I'm more than just that person, though. I love a bunch of tv shows, and I love fantasy books as well. Right now I am very big into the TV show Merlin, a fantasy show that used to run on a couple of networks.
I also longboard/skateboard casually and sometimes competitively, winning stuff from skate competitions all over.
I am sure that if you are to be around me, we can find something to talk about. (:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now as a college student I am surfing other people's couches and experiencing the world, although when I'm older I have every intention of paying it forward and letting people stay on my couch or extra bed when I have the home to do so.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last month, I went to Toronto for a girls longboarding event. I stayed in a house with other college students, and had a blast talking with them and learning about what life in Canada is like. We went out to eat and made drinks, and had a great time.

I've created six apps to assist autistic children with their therapy.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am able to teach people about starting your own company and branching out on your own to pursue your passion. I can also give beginners tips on how to start your own venture, so that you don't fall into common traps.
