I love traveling and finding new friends and learning about different cultures. My work is in engineering and science but my hubbies are less logical and more adventurous. When our busy schedule permits, my wife and I love to explore new places on earth and learn about new ways of life... I lived in Tampa, Florida and Los Angeles, California and be happy to help with any questions about the area. Having a curious and active mind, my interests are immense and continues to evolve. I enjoy learning about people. economy, business strategies, technology, politics, psychology, and more. I enjoy all sports, particularly water sports, including water ski, fishing, sailing, swimming, etc. Hiking, traveling, and eating are also my interests :). However, nature is certainly my passion as it brings joy, peace and simplicity to my heart and soul.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm still learning about Couchsurfing... However, we do have an extra room and bath at our home to share with interesting people or couples, so if you're coming this way, perhaps we can share some time/interest. We live in a very quite, secluded area in the mountains, north of Los Angeles but only 15 min drive to Downtown. Certainly not near party area or clubs of LA. But, lots of nature, deer visiting, and birds singing in the morning....Full of bright, shinny stars at night...The public transportation exist, but it is limited and not convenient. Good to have a car in LA, however, If you have time and willing to do a 10 to 15 Min of pleasant walk, you can get where you want to go with public transportation. I've lived in Los Angeles for over 20 years, and be happy to assist with any travel questions.
