My name is Mei FUJIWARA. I’m a Japanese university student currently spending a year in Nancy, France as an exchange student. I’ll be returning to Japan in August 2025, and until then, I’m hoping to explore as many cities across Europe as possible.

During my time abroad, I’ve been traveling around Europe and collecting unforgettable memories. I love visiting museums and trying delicious local food. Rather than rushing to see every famous tourist spot, I prefer wandering around a city, enjoying slow strolls, and finding unexpected gems along the way.

This exchange is actually my very first time living abroad, and it’s been an eye-opening experience. Meeting my host family and making new friends from different cultures has been incredibly exciting and enriching. Although I haven’t done much solo traveling yet, I’m planning a two-month trip across Europe in the summer of 2025. I’m looking forward to using Couchsurfing to connect with locals and experience their culture more deeply. I would also love to share Japanese culture and make meaningful, fun memories together.
