Hi! My name is Merlin, I was born in Changsha, Hunan, a beautiful city in southern China. I am a super foodie.

I studied fine art in university specially in watercolor painting. Also passionate about quick sketches. Sometimes I’ll draw something what I dream about hahah….

Started from 2024 I teaching Mandarin (HSK, BCT, YCT, IGCSE, IB Chinese…) to pay the bills and teaching students of all ages, from primary school to seniors. In my opinion language is just a tool; what matters is how you choose to use it.

I love any outside door activities running, hiking, walking, training Muay Thai for 2y. Since October 2024, I have fallen in love with diving🤿 and surfing🏄. I have a diving AOW certificate.

Stared at the end of March 2026 I’m in Australia for a working holiday.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2024 My graduation work was exhibited in the exhibition hall.
After graduating from college, I became a Chinese teacher in Thailand.
2025 I teaching Chinese in Saigon.
I summited the second highest peak in Victoria mount feathertop during Christmas.
