About Me

After three long years of COVID and growing old - WE'RE BACK!
Based in Delft (~a fairytale fucking town~ between Rotterdam and The Hague, the Netherlands), my partner Eden, our cats and I are happy to meet new couchsurfers! I'm a recent MSc architecture graduate from TU Delft, and Eden is a game developer working remotely for a Swedish company. We like cooking and baking (Eden) and architecture (Meitar; I have no hobbies), and enjoy hosting and meeting new people very much :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it's really hard to be friends with receptionists in hotels :( and more seriously: we are great belivers in practicing generosity, and we try, as much as we can, to make room for it in our lives. Being a guest means so much more than being a tourist, right?

Music, Movies, and Books

Radiohead and everything that Thom Yorke has ever touched, Stromae, Pink Floyd, Leonard Cohen, Regina Spektor, Childish Gambino, Rufus Wainwright, Daði Freyr (a lil bit of high-quality Eurovision is nothing to be ashamed of), Leyli, Shlomi Shaban, Habiluyim, Oy Division...

All that is Wes Anderson (The Darjeeling Limited, Isle of Dogs), Ghibli Studio (Only Yesterday), Tarantino (Au revoir, Shoshanna!), Agnes Varda (Visage, Village), Lord of the Rings (but definitely not the Hobbit stuff), A24 films (Everything Everywhere All At Once, Midsommer); we would always choose small films that tell a small story in a sensitive and human way, with long beautiful shots.

Haven't read books that are not architecture-related for so many years so that's a very sad question to answer :(
