I am a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I studied Journalism/PR and Advertising and French. I'm spending a year working on a project interviewing and writing about millennials on an individual level--the project can be found at:

At the same time, I run video podcasts and consult on social media for a global nonprofit based in my hometown.
I studied abroad in Paris and spent a summer interning in New York with a few freelance stylists. I love fashion (I worked at a boutique through college and was creative director for the campus life/style magazine) as much as I love being outdoors and working up a sweat(I'm a huge runner since high school cross country, I love biking, hiking, and will try just about anything!).
I also love animals, baking, reading and over-quoting tv shows.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

As I said, I'm working on a project interviewing millennials all over the country and writing about them (link in bio). I'm staying with friends for a lot of it, but there are a few cities that I want to go to where I don't know anyone!
In addition, it's a project based on interviewing people 22-27 about their lives, so the more amazing people I meet, the more amazing stories I am lucky enough to tell! Couchsurfing seems like a cool way to both meet people and stay in new places.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Last books I read... All the light We Cannot See, Let The Great World Spin, The Wave. Currently Reading: A Brief History of Seven Killings, Born to Run, Canada, All the Pretty Horses

Movies: I will watch just about anything. Guilty pleasure is Pirates of the Caribbean.

Music: I listen to anything and everything... I like chillwave/downtempo/house when I'm studying, EDM/electronic and remixes to dance to and at festivals, classic rock (Springsteen is my fave) and new and Indie rock (Black Keys, Arctic Monkeys), folk like Trampled by Turtles and Bon Iver, rap and RnB and things that don't totally have a category like Alt-J. I also have no-shame so much love for top-40 and even some country.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Still pretty amazed I am doing this project and traveling the world telling stories and meeting people while sort of living out of my car.

But I really want to sky dive so once that happens...

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach some french and some cooking tricks or a little bit of indesign and wordpress. I want to learn to get better at yoga and cooking and learn spanish.
