ABOUT ME

I am a very fun and open minded individual who says yes to just about anything. I love to travel and meet new people. I have traveled to 29 countries - my goal is 30 before 30. Immersing myself/exploring in a foreign setting is what makes me happy.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way to meet new people.. technology these days has really destroyed human interaction, but I feel with a little help from technology we can improve that.. i.e. - COUCH SURFING!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted once, and couch-surfed once in Costa Rica. Both experiences were great, and I would love to have more!

I love to sail. I was fortunate enough to grow up on a sail boat and have sailed through the islands of Hawaii.

Other interests include cooking vegetarian meals when I have time, reading, riding my bike, hiking with my dog and doing adventurous activities like cliff jumping, bungee jumping, sky diving, & scuba diving!

I have worked on a sailing yacht and was able to cross the Atlantic ocean as the only woman on board.

I love learning new languages! I am fluent in Spanish, am an intermediate in French and would love to learn more Dutch and Catalan.

I am also currently teaching myself the ukulele. It is a beautiful instrument and would love to learn a few more techniques.
