Hello! I'm a student (art prépa) in Paris, as I fell in love with the french language and came here 3 years ago as an Au Pair* to learn it. I'm from Brazil, so my first language is Portuguese. I love to take photos of animals, getting to know new cultures and people, doing arts and crafts, reading books and of course, exploring new places ;)

*Au Pair program: a cultural exchange program where we take care of children of the host family.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to be able to explore some countries during my free time and meet new people. With student budget I have, I was looking for some alternatives and found about couchsurfing. As I was an au pair, was already used to living in someone else's home, in a different country and culture so I thought, why not give it a go?

My first couchsurfing experience was wonderful! A lovely couple living in Luxembourg hosted me for a week, I had such a good time, I'll be forever grateful. Then I stayed in Paris for 2 days and was hosted by a nice woman who not only had a cute cat, but did ceramics as a hobby. I couldn't have had a better experience!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a solo trip to Luxembourg! :)
It was my first time travelling alone and I used couchsurfing. I had a lovely time there 🥰

What I Can Share with Hosts

Laughs, stories, smiles and some goodies as a thank-you gift for hosting me!
Maybe we can do brigadeiros together; they are a traditional brazilian dessert, very easy to make!

I can talk to them in english, French or portuguese. Or at least teach some words in portuguese.
