We are Dave and Mel, a married couple from Melbourne Australia currently on a year and a half trip around the world. We have had amazing experiences so far and are looking forward to continuing our journey throughout Latin America.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We have used Airbnb a lot and love the community atmosphere of it, especially meeting fantastic hosts who want to get to know you and make you feel part of their home and their city. Unfortunately a lot of people are using Airbnb as a money making venture only and are not offering personal recommendations etc. We feel that the community we are looking for is more in line with Couchsurfing.
