About Me

Hi there,

My name is Mel and I am an avid traveller. I am easy going, social, and enjoy an active lifestyle. I'm a seasoned traveller and have visited upwards of 45 countries so far. I love to meet great people, cook/ eat and explore the world.

Looking forward to meeting some interesting people in great places! If you'd like any additional information please don't hesitate to ask.

In relation to Hosting:

I have an irregular work schedule, and keep quite busy, therefore I am not always available for hosting. I have a housemate and will need to clear it with him as well. Weekends are preferred.

I live in close proximity to the University and have a spare bedroom with a double futon that can accommodate up to 2 guests. I prefer to see positive references before agreeing to host, but with that said, I realize everyone needs to start somewhere. I EXPECT reliable and respectful guests that would treat my home well. NO smoking/drugs on the property!!

PLEASE NOTE** not interested in any "romantic" endeavors

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Last year I quit my job at home and went travelling around the world for a year! I had joined a fellow traveller couch surfing and had positive experiences and met good people while getting a local perspective of places. Now that I'm home i'd love to try and return the favor.
