ABOUT ME

I'm a recent graduate from Warren Wilson College close to Asheville, NC ...Loved but left the totally awesome town of Asheville, looking to try out something new. I'm getting my move on, planning west coast adventures, mountain biking, burning man, and learning more about myself and the world around me. I guess I'm a pretty high energy person, but always working toward being calm and attentive like a cat. I find a lot of things fascinating- our environment, how stuff works, the trees/birds/bees, photography, and trying to figure out why we are on this planet... Right now my partner and I are hanging out in Eugene, OR looking for community, fun, adventures, and a place to live/work for a while.

PHILOSOPHY

Forget expectations. Trust your future self. Take it easy. Balance between taking myself serious, not too serious. Everyone has the ability to change their perspective and I'm constantly on board. Empathy for other people having different experiences.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I tell everyone I can and feel like this is such an awesome, legitimate community of people all looking for the same kind of thing in traveling. I've had so many awesome experiences on here and considering traveling and meeting people are some of my favorite things, I plan on continuing exploring this community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted once, surfed a few times around the U.S., New Zealand, and Tonga
Met a few in the Asheville area but have only been able to host once thus far.
Hopeful of establishing more connections in Eugene!

Kingdom of Tonga > GO!!!
Soooo many wonderful sunsets in the mountains of north carolina.
Also love the quirky people and places of New Zealand that entertained me for a good 6 months.
All of the spectacular geology and LIFE across the united states...what a huge, abundant, vast country I live in with so many interesting strange people.
