ABOUT ME

I was born in Mexico and mainly spent my childhood there, except for a short time in Nigeria as a very small child. When I was sixteen I moved over to Germany and have been living here since. I'm half Icelander and half German and love travelling, getting to know different people and cultures. That's probably the reason why I chose to become a filmmaker, since this gives me an excuse to travel more.

PHILOSOPHY

To take people as they are, every person has a special core, to take life as it is, and to try to live life to its full extent. I love to see the way life develops in all its forms, positive and negative.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment it's a bit complicated to host people on a regular basis due to our shared apartment and my flatmate, but this will change during the next months. What I can definitely do is show you around Cologne. I haven't lived here long, only for about nine months, but I can say that I know a couple of nice places despite the short time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far all experiences have been great. I haven't had tons though, since i've been only doing this since a year.

I love to meet friends for a beer and talk, make films, travel, play music with my bandmates, read, go to concerts, look at movies, go to expositions and run.

Musically I love experimental music, rock, metal and many other genres. To name a few of my all time favorites: Killing Joke, Einstürzende Neubauten, Rush, Godflesh, Coil, Black Sabbath, Kris Kristofferson, Johny Cash, Ministry, Porcupine Tree, etc, etc....
