我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm Melanie from Northern Germany and 2018 I decided to do something completely different: I arranged a 4-month sabbatical with my employer in order to travel England - to get to know better the people and the culture, just LIVE there for some time :o) So I volunteered and I couchsurfed for the first time and I met the greatest people, they were so generous to me, we had wonderful times. Then I also made some not so good experiences, but I suppose you cannot have the one without the other - such is life.
Now I'm back in Bremen and looking forward to meet the local couchsurfing community!

My friends call me a music nerd. So don't tell me you like "all kinds of music"!! That means not caring at all.
I do like several genres, e.g.

for listening: Jazz, Postrock, Experimental
for dancing: 60s Funk and Northern Soul, Balkan Beats, 2000ers Indierock
for singing: Gospel, international Folk, a bit of Pop
for live gigs: Singer Songwriter, World, Trad, in fact the best way to experience music usually is live and this may be all sorts of music :o)
