I love adventures.

A few years ago I made the decision to never say no to life experiences, where safety wasn't a concern. It could be anything from walking into a party knowing only one person to dropping everything and moving across the world. I don't want to miss an experience or an adventure because I was too scared to take a risk.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always loved traveling but my favorite thing to do is get off the beaten path when I visit new places. I like to see where the locals live and experience the culture away from the tourist areas. I grew up visiting my grandparents in a little village in England and it was nice to act like a local and live among the locals for a few weeks.

I think the concept of coach surfing is awesome. It's a way to cut back on the costs of traveling but I think it offers much more than money can buy. It's an experience in itself, a unique one at that. It may not be fore everyone but I think it should be something that every traveler should experience. What better way to learn about a country than to stay with a local?!

My hope is that my boyfriend and I can be hosted while in Europe this spring and be able to return the favor one day in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a secret Harry Potter nerd. Although I guess it's not much of a secret once it's on the internet... I have read the books more times than I can count and can probably recite the movies. They never get old. Oh and I can't get myself to stop singing "Dark Lord Funk" a parody of Bruno Mars' "Uptown Funk" .

Besides random Youtube songs I am also a fan of country music and 80's rock. Journey is a favorite among my friends, but then again who doesn't love some "Don't Stop Believing" !
