I'm Melanie, 21 years old.
I'm French living in the Bay Area for a year as an au pair. I've been here for the past 11 months so I have just a bit of time left.
I lived in Detroit, Michigan the year before that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because as an au pair our paychecks are not that great, so being on couchsurfing is literally our best friend.
Plus, I like travelling alone to allow myself to meet new people and see what locals do in each city that I'm in.

But then I love a lot more: Halsey, Bazzi, Kiana Lede, Ariana Grande, Fifth Harmony, Khalid, G-Eazy, P-Lo, Ty Dolla Sign, Billie Eillish, Chris Brown, Hayley Kiyoko, Dua Lipa, Bea Miller, Big Sean, Frank Ocean........ I love music, concerts and festivals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went ziplining above Niagara Falls with my best friend last year.
One of the best things I've ever done in my life.
