About Me

I'm a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University . I love to travel both in the U.S. and around the world, and I've been to 25 countries and counting! I love to rock climb, run, dance, and hike, and practice my German (still working on becoming fluent). In my spare time I also love to paint, hula hoop, do yoga, and read. I love to meet people and make new friends :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am relatively new to couchsurfing, but I'm super excited to get to know people in the places that I visit. I find that is one of the best ways to understand the unique community and culture. And I would love to open my new home to visitors who want to do the same!

Interests

Rock climbing (bouldering, lead climbing), running (half marathons), baking and cooking (I love to eat and cook delicious new things), Hula hooping, painting (oil and acrylic), dancing (I've danced for 12 years!), yoga, reading, meditation. Also love music and going to festivals.
