On paper I'm a Swiss Canadian but I like to consider myself more of a global citizen. If home is where the heart is, mine is with the people that I've met from all the over world and in the different places where I've lived. There is nothing more exciting for me than to explore a new place, to defy the unknown and to learn from the people that cross my path.

I love reading and occasionally I write a bit on the side. I have a particular passion for ancient history and lost civilizations. I'm fascinated by different cultures and love to learn more about the different ways in which people lead their lives. I also really enjoy learning new languages.

Favorite movie is the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I also like to indulge myself with some animated classics, in particular How to Train Your Dragon and Mulan. My two favorite TV shows are Flashpoint and NCIS Los Angeles.

As for books, I don't think I'm able to pick a favorite. I love historical fiction and fantasy in particular. Some of my favorite authors (besides J.R.R. Tolkien) are C.S. Lewis, Guy Gavriel Kay, Conn Iggulden, David Gemmell, Alexandre Dumas and Karl May.

I listen to a lot of different kinds of music and always like discovering new artists. I also love listening to soundtracks.
