Hey there!
I‘m Melanie, 22 years old, born in Saxony in Germany, and living in Jena (Thuringia, Germany) right now, where i studied Bioinformatics for some years and am now studying Biology.
I am working the Planetarium in Jena, and since that i have a big knowledge about astronomy. It is also one of my hobbies, to take my camera out at night and shoot the stars, or simply watch them taking their path across the sky.

My hobbies might be a bit strange, but they are always good material for interesting talks and exciting stories. I am soaring (flying sailplanes) since i am 14 and was playing Quidditch for some years. I am playing lots of different instruments, mainly flute, guitar and piano, and i am very interested in photography, so that i am not only a photographer but have also modeled for freetime-photographers some times.

I am in a wonderful relationship with my boyfriend Robert, who seems to be very shy but just needs time to come out of his shell 😬😇
I am living together with my dog Willy, who might be a bit lively, but he is always friendly and well-behaved. 🐕

I listen to almost every kind of music. To name some groups, i listen mostly to bands like Nightwish, Skillet or Linkin Park 🤘🏼 but sometimes i prefer Imagine Dragons, Pink or Coldplay 😇

Netflix Series that i loved the most were Vikings, Orange is the new Black, Reign, the Rain and Outlander.

I really like the books of Sebastian Fitzek, i have read lots of them 😍

Teach, Learn, Share

I‘ve always loved to teach anything. Maybe you are interested in the german language and culture, or in music or mathematics or science or astronomy. We could even cook together, i love to share traditional stuff and especially to learn about foreign traditions.
