ABOUT ME

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and working as an expat in Beijing for just under a year, I'm now back in the U.S. I had a blast traveling throughout China and got to experience rare kindness and generosity from a host while visiting Spain.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While in Beijing, I met a few travelers from Couchsurfing, but I really experienced the awesomeness that can happen while in Spain with a friend. A Couchsurfer who had been born and raised in Barcelona showed us around and although we didn't stay at his place (despite his insisting it was okay) he spent so much of his valuable time giving us an in-depth tour of the beautiful city.

I love meeting new people, baking and cooking, spending time with friends and family, all kinds of music, writing, and dancing.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

An amazing moment I've experienced was the sky being lit up by, literally, thousands of fireworks at midnight on the Chinese New Year. It was a unique moment to be in the center of all the commotion and to feel such passionate energy from people celebrating a holiday that they held dear to their hearts.
