About Me

I am a constant traveller for work and for holidays! I love seeing as much of this beautiful planet as I can and meeting so many wonderful people in it :)
Other hobbies include ice cream, cider in the sunshine, live music, cricket, hiking, and saving the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess the same reason we all are, to meet those ever mysterious locals, and have a different perspective of a place.
I haven't actually officially couch surfed before, that's why I don't have references and stuff, but let's give it a go!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies- kiwi director Taika Waititi is my fave. I also love everything from Inception to Bridesmaids to Charlie Chaplin to the Lion King.
Music- Too much to write down, I'll come back to this when I have a spare 4 hours. Fave is arctic monkeys :)
Same for books.
Actually same for movies too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

getting locked inside the Pena castle grounds in Portugal, watching the sunrise in the Sahara Desert while chatting to ex-nomads, sitting on the edge of the London Thames with a beer, playing outdoor ping pong until dawn at a music festival, cricket on the beach sunset in Greece, hitting an iceberg in the Southern Ocean, scuba diving with hammerhead sharks, skydiving over fox glacier, showing so many people my beautiful country :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Potatoes are completely unnatural and were especially bred from a poisonous plant many many years ago. No one knows how the people back then knew they were going to create something special, or how they knew when it stopped being poisonous and started being delicious.

That was from memory and I may be thinking of the wrong vegetable. But I am pretty sure it is potatoes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have lots of hilarious jokes, for example:
Why did the toilet paper roll down the hill?
To get to the bottom.

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Antarctica, Argentina, Austria, Bolivia, Bulgaria, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Greece, Hungary, Laos, Macedonia, Malaysia, Morocco, Nepal, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, Viet Nam
