我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The Lamanai ruins in Northern Belize are one of my favorite travel memories. While there, I had the chance to climb to the top of the largest pyramid- about 5-stories high! The view from the top was spectacular, but even more awe-inspiring was the knowledge that in the not-too-distant past, the same view was the right and the privilege of a Mayan king.
Nagasaki, Japan is the home of the Nagasaki Peace Park and Atomic Bomb Museum. The museum was built by the people of Nagasaki,in the hope that the people of the world can join hands and face a future free of nuclear weapons. The museum is home to the 1000 paper cranes that began the paper cranes for peace movement. The cranes, as well as the story of their creation, are unforgettable. The peace park is a living reminder of the mutual understanding and solidarity for which we must strive as global citizens.
