Hallo, we are Melanie and Heiko, we are a couple, living in the little town of Meppen, close to the Netherlands. It's more or less between Amsterdam and Berlin.
Our home is situated at the border of a forest and we have a lot of nature around. Bike-travellers are very welcome!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are curious to learn to know interesting people and to have an exchange of experiences in life and travelling.
When we registered here in 2006, we thought no one will ever visit our hometown, but actually Meppen is situated on the axis Berlin-Amsterdam, Hamburg -Amsterdam, Northsea-Ruhr-Area. So we were astonished to get requests and there were quite a few guests at our place so far, most of them traveling by bike.

Interests

We are a couple that loves nature, hiking and cycling, gardening (a litte garten with flowers and vegetables is something that makes very happy), going to concerts, cooking. We are vegetarians.
Travelling by bike is the best way to experience the world around.
