ABOUT ME

I am pretty laid-back and specialize in atrocious puns. I think I'm fun to be around and hope others do too. I constantly have two intense but contradicting desires: the first, to be able to pack all of my possessions into a backpack and go wherever I want; the second, to live comfortably and nest in my own home.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The summer I was in Alaska, I was in a van with six other people driving from Denali down to the Kenai Peninsula. On the highway that runs through the Chugach National Forest, we saw these silvery-grey creatures bobbing up and down in the water, slightly slower than our van. We pulled off at the next area to look more closely and realized there were beluga whales, passing through on their migration to Latin America. We had just come from Denali, where we'd seen tons of wildlife, but of course we had expected to see wildlife in a conservation area. Here, just driving on the highway, there were five or six belugas swimming not more than 30 feet away from us. It was beautiful and amazing!
