Hello travel buddies! I'm Mel, a half Spanish and half Argentinian girl. I'm from Madrid but currently living in Malta :) Since I was kid, I dreamt with planes, airports and trips. Now, as a Spanish teacher, I intend to travel the globe and let the life surprise me in the meanwhile.
I'm always thinking where to go next. I could spend hours, days even weeks reading travel blogs, watching travel vloggers and searching good deals in Skyscanner... Cannot find better distraction!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I believe travelling is not the same as doing tourism. Most of my best memories travelling are with locals in hidden spots, they open a whole new universe to you. There's nothing better than a good conversation, some beers and great company to fall in love with a place. CS gives us the possibility to do this, meet great people, experience local and ooooopen your mind to different thoughts.
The world is too big to stay in one place, so let's try couches all over the world XD

Intereses

Very fan of Spanish and Latin American literature and music. I've been dancing salsa and bachata for almost five years, it's one my passions. Every time I hear music, just can't stop moving. I loooove sports as well, probably more watching than doing them :P I am a total freak of Formula 1 races, so that I could even wake up at 4am to follow one of them live.
Beyond this, good coffee and a sunset on the beach is what makes me happy! Simple life :)

Algo increíble que he hecho

Sleeping under the stars just next to Uluru, on the Australian desert.
Roadtripping around New Zealand for a month without crying every time single we turn the corner, because the landscape was simply out of this world. And, of course, feeling you are living inside the Lord of the Rings :D
Having a shower in an airport. Next step will be having it on a plane...!
