ABOUT ME

Last year I took 8 months off work in order to travel around the world! I felt that after 3 years of work I needed a break. I wanted to see the world while I was still young and didn't have any serious commitments.

I am now back home in beautiful Melbourne, and am loving it. Happy to take fellow backpackers out for a drink and show them around, I've worked in and around the CBD for over 4 years and know most of what there is to know. I am however very busy and need some advance notice.

I am a friendly and outgoing person and love to meet new and interesting people as well as learn about other cultures. I like to think I have a great sense of humour, though some people do get tired of my constant simpsons quotes!

Interests

Traveling (obviously!), meeting new people, history, going to the beach, painting/drawing, playing football (soccer)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to read books that teach me something about history or other cultures. One of my favorite books is "Power of One" by Bryce Courtenay.

I like all sorts of music, rock, dance, pop, live music etc

My favourite movies and shows are comedies: simpsons, black books, zoolander, coupling, scrubs, flight of the conchords, big bang theory, etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Horse riding and staying in a ger in Mongolia
- Tomatina festival in Spain
- Oktoberfest in Germany
- Teaching for a month in Ghana
- Roadtripping in the USA
- Getting drunk on vodka with my Russian cousins and going out to a Jewish Christmas Eve bar crawl in NYC
