About Me

If you are from Ukraine and need some kind of help, please let me know how can I help you!!!

Hello there!
First and foremost, if you would like to be my guest, please inform if you are already full vaccinated and send me your vaccinate certificate.

I'm living temporally in a nice hotel 40min from Lisbon, it's possible host but in general I can not host in weekdays due to my work, but sometime is possible. It is easier to me to host somebody Friday to Monday.

being a csfer doesn't just mean being a host or a guest. There are many ways to participate on cs. 1- share tips on what to do in your city 2 - organize events/tours to explore the local culture 3 - be active in the hang out, 4 - share tips on local mobility 5 - share tips on non-tourist places 6 - share tips about local hosting.
there are cfers with time availability, but without a space to offer. there are others with space to offer but without time to give attention.

Tip :)
As The cs policies for request has changed you can first reach out to me through message, this way you can save your limited number for couch request attempt.

Please if someone else come along with you give information about this person/people and some way to contact them.

Tips about Lisbon

Mobility/ website
App for Public Transport (Google maps does not work well to connect Lisbon Metropolitan area)

Bolt often offer better prices than Uber (check both)

If you stay in Lisbon for more than 5 days is cheaper and better to take the Viva Card Metropolitan Public Transport and charge 40 euros, you can take all public transport (boat, tram, train, bus, metro and discount for Bolt app transport). You will spend Easily 10 euros daily to explore Lisbon by public transport.

Have your card ready in the minute or within 24 hours.

My friends say I'm from another world.

I've been diving into stoicism and minimalism for the last few years

Human beings are not perfect, they are perfectible and
I'm breathing a new way of living.
I know who I am, I love who I am, I like what I do
and I like how I do it,
I like my mistakes, I like the way I learn
and I like the pace with which I learn my mistakes
I don´t want to be anybody else.
But me.
I don't want to be better than anybody
I'm trying be better that I've been up to now. to be a better version of myself. you are not my contend maybe you can be someone that can inspire me to take some decisions.
There are limits to human perfectibility
ruptures, in general, are more harmful and promote more harm than negotiated continuities, we are a compromise between the past and the future, so I cannot deny everything that came before nor compromise everything that comes after. we have to transform relationships into a dialogue of possibilities for coexistence and not in a utopian paradise on earth.

I dream of a world without borders, where people feel free and that they belong where they are passing by or settle down.

Are you doing what is possible or your best?

Do your best to improve in the circumstances you have while you don't have better ones!

It's not the best in the world. It's your best in the condition you have while you don't have better conditions to do even better. I ask again, but don't answer yet, are you doing what is possible or your best? Because if you or I can do my best, I settle for what I can, I fall into a dangerous place called 'mediocrity'. Because a mediocre person is one who, being able to do his best, is content to do whatever is possible.

Happiness is not the absence of conflict
but the ability to deal with it.
A happy person doesn't have the best of everything,
but they make everything better

Who I am? (take a look on my album) The answer is not always ready, it depends on the circumstances...but always open to learning and sharing.

If I need to go fast, I try go alone. If I need to go far, I try go together.

The most important principle in relation to time is that time is perishable. No one can save time. It’s not like money. You can’t deposit the time you save into an account and use it later. Time passes. Time is a constantly depleting resource. Once it’s gone, it’s gone, and you will never get it back. A wise person will keep that in mind while preparing and planning.

I love cooking, dancing, talking, preparing delicious juices, drinks,
watch the sunrise. the rising of the full moon, the stars.
cooperative games, boardgames.

I'm deeply interested in human behavior, psychology, technology, philosophy, sexology, and environmental sustainability issues.

I love paradox and talking about taboos!!!!

I'm a biologist, specializing in environmental technologies, factor 10, and conscientious consumption.

Nowadays, I'm developing technology for vertical gardens and home indoor composters.

I work as a carpenter using sustainable building techniques and sustainable materials.

among other skills
I studied photography, massage therapy (Swedish, Thai, tantric), origami,
I was a theater actor, I participated in a dance group for 7 years.
I've planted more than 100 trees and hosted more than 2,000 couchsurfers through my old profile.
I also love handcrafts (macramé, joinery, carpentry)
Now I'm trying to improve my musical skills (guitar, harmonica, piano)

The human being: a finite, perfectible, and unfinished being

Overcoming the limits, projecting oneself upwards, surpassing oneself:
the eternal challenge of the human being.
Human beings are the only beings who are aware of their finitude. He knows that his life has a beginning, a middle, and an end: he is a "being-toward-death". In this way, he is not satisfied with what he is or what he has. He is continually looking for something more. He aspires to infinity and wants to reach it. At the same time, he is aware of his limits: he is a finite being who seeks perfection.
This contradictory and paradoxical situation generates an existential crisis, overcome in part by the belief in immortality and the existence of a God and life after death (or life after life). It is the way found by human beings to transcend their contingency and limitations imposed by matter and take flight towards spirituality.
Coming out of the material, animal, and even rational cycle, he projects himself into the spiritual world, into the sphere of the absolute and the infinite. Thus, it is possible to affirm that the human being is a religious and spiritual being: he worships, worships, and reveres forces and deities considered superior and transcendental. Faced with a hostile world and an indecipherable reality, he prays, repents, asks for forgiveness for his mistakes, and invokes protection and security from a God who condenses the ideas of infinity, perfection, and completeness.
Pascal considered: The human being is nothing but a reed, the weakest, but he is a thinking reed. It is not necessary for the entire universe to arm itself to crush him: a single vapor, a drop of water, is enough to kill him. But even if the universe were to crush him, the human being would still be nobler than the one who kills him, because he knows that he dies and the advantage that the universe has over him; the universe does not know all this. All our dignity consists, therefore, in thought.
Trust, is something you can't fake It's so delicate and fragile and it's something you can't break

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

25 days Camping trip in National Park Chapada Diamantina - wild camping 25 days no eletricity, no city, no internet.

we rented a bus to travel 2 weeks across Brasil with 50 friends.

I wrote a poem book when I was 14 years old.

I did first aid procedures after a car accident (2 times)

I got married after 2 weeks I met my ex partner.

Hear the voice of silence!!! It was an incredible experience I've lived per 5 days steeped in my 5 senses, I didn't hear any sounds produced by human beings, other than being blindfolded, and thus plunged into darkness, and I also didn't speak any words or produce any vocal sounds, which turned my focus back to a voyage of discovery for myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

A can teach you dances like Samba, Forró, Arrocha

I have lot of cooperative board games -

I can teach you how Wash hands, the best way to cure your hangover and poop in the right way (scientifically verified) believe me so many people don't know how to do it - lol)

I dare you to learn dance samba in 5 min (I'm not kidding, I can teach you in 5 min how to dance the samba)

Not always the answer is ready.
There is beauty in doubt it is worth to be appreciated.
Forging the answer ahead of time is the same as harvesting unripe fruit.
Maybe that's why some judge wisdom in my words ... Take in doubt ... I am often discovering the wisdom that insists on hiding in the absence of words.

We are compelled to give answers to everything and talk because we do not support the lack of answers.
Silence becomes uncomfortable, and does not support even hearing the beating of our heart, the distressing silence does not allow us to hear the silent voice.
Sometimes I prefer to let the doubt. Rather than give you ready answers.
Living with creative doubt, it is a wisdom that we should exercise.

But who knows me knows I'm a simple person, those who let it touch the questions and try to enjoy the charm of the absence of words.
The kind that leaves the night throwing his cloak over doubt that the sun-warmed. It often gives the answers in ways smile.
There is a time for everything, and I try to live every single way situation, no one can bathe in the same water two or more times.

Life sometimes is only possible in questioning silence.
I'm happy! I like to be ... But the kind of happiness that breaks paradigms, those who have gestures that help us re7⅞7build lives, shorten distances, promote diets, decrease missed ...
shared happiness ... Discovering that sharing the happy moment is a way to multiply it, make it eternal.

Realize that superior beauties insist on hiding in smaller beauty, unattractive.
Happiness without notice. unexpected reunions, gifts that we receive without reason, without celebrations special dates. Small gestures that make a difference in the sum of all.

a life that is celebrated just for celebrating, just for recognizing what is unique, unrepeatable, singular in it.
In some ways I don't have any predictions for my life, for me, it doesn't matter if Saturn is in the line of Jupiter or if the cards have revealed hidden truths about anyone.

What I do know is that life continues to dawn, with or without foresight. The unexpected is still the most vivid half of life.
The poet said that “sadness has no end, happiness does!” Was right? I do not know.

What I know is that this immense trade market in which life has become, found temporary illusions being sold as if they were long-lasting happiness, and who said that temporary happiness has no value?

Being happy is dreaming and making the dream happen, and that requires dedication and trust.
There are those who say no, they prefer to believe in the magic formulas that this contemporary literature offers us, promising us a series of happiness that, according to those who produce it, can be conquered with the application of the recipes offered by them.

I still don't believe in all of this... I still prefer to see life, the new possibilities as a mysterious ball to let go of the hands. In the gesture of letting it fall, two perspectives remain the care to hold the tip so that it does not lose our hands and the freedom for it to unfold according to the movement. Therein lies the beauty.

We plan dreams, sacrifice exaggerations, reduce superfluous.
When someone asks me: What is happiness for you? It comes to my mind when I find a note on the fridge, an unexpected meeting, a message from a friend I haven't seen in a while, a shared smile with someone who says, I'm happy to meet you, a phone call from someone who's been missing.
All this makes me smile... I want to live, to sing corny music, to embarrass myself in public, to say I love...

Time is free but it’s priceless. You can’t own it but you can use it. You can’t keep it but you can spend it. And once it’s lost, you can never get it back.
The average person lives 78 years. We spent 28.3 years of our life sleeping. That’s almost a third of our life but 30% of us struggle to sleep well. We spent 10.5 years of our life working but over 50% of us want to leave our current jobs. Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money but you can never get more time. We spend 9 years on T.V and social media. We spend 6 years doing chores. We spend 4 years eating and drinking. We spend 3.5 years in education. We spend 2.5 yeas grooming. We spend 2.5 yeas shopping. We spend 1.5 years in child care and we spend 1.3 years commuting.
That leaves us with 9 years. How will we spend that time? Steve Job said, “Your time is limited so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.” So there’s a good news and there’s a bad news. The bad news is time flies and the good news is you’re the pilot.
Imagine you wake up everyday with $86,400 in your bank account and at the end of the night it’s all gone whether you spent it or not. And then the next day you get another $86,400. What would we do with it? Everyday 86,400 seconds are added into your life account. At the end of the day once they’re all used up, you get a new 86,400 seconds. We would never waste it if it was money. So why do we waste it when it comes to time? Those seconds are so much more powerful than dollars because you can always make more dollars but you can’t always make more time.
To realize the value of 1 year, ask a student who failed a grade. To realize the value of 1 month, ask a mother who lost her child in the final month. To realize the value of 1 week, ask the editor of an online magazine. To realize the value of 1 hour, ask the couple who is in a long distant relationship. To realize the value of 1 minute, ask the person who just missed a bus, a train or a plane. To realize the value of 1 second, ask a person who just missed an accident and to realize the value of 1 millisecond, ask the person who just came 2nd at the Olympics.
We think that it’s people wasting our time but it’s really us giving them the permission to do that. And in reality these two people live inside us. Don’t let someone be a priority when all you are to them is an option. Someone of us lose the people most important to us because we don’t value their time. Someone of us don’t recognize how important someone is to us until they’re gone.
Inside all of us are two voices. One voice that wants to uplift. One voice that wants to expand. One voice that wants us to grow. And then there’s the other voice. The voice that holds us back. The voice that makes us lazy. The voice that makes us complacent. The voice that restricts us from our potential. Everyday from the moment we wake up to the moment we go to sleep, inside of us there’s this battle between the two voices. And guess which one wins? The one that we listen to the most. The one that we feed. The one that we amplify. It is our choice of how we waste our time. It is our choice of how we use our time.
Life and time are the best two teachers. Life teaches us to make good use of time and time teaches us the value of life. And as William Shakespeare said, “Time is very slow for those who want, very fast for those who are scared, very long for those who are sad and very short for those who celebrate but for those who love, time is eternal.”
The greatest gift you can give someone is your time because when you give your time, you are giving a portion of your life that you will never get back.
The bad news is time flies. The good news is you're the pilot.
