ABOUT ME

thought I would have gotten the travelling thing out of my system doing it all in my early twenties, but here I am at 30, haven't stopped, and realize more and more that life (or at least mine) is meant for continually exploring...have a whole world to see still and still get a unique energy fix everytime i step into a new country

PHILOSOPHY

trying to keep it open, to not crystallize anything because there's always something else to be considered/added....I guess my philosophy's a bit of an anti-philosophy, bah! :)

love languages, riding bike, wine! have also really found that travelling alone is amazing...you meet so many more people and it completely changes the experience you have abroad.

Music, Movies, and Books

right now music-wise I am loving: Little Dragon, Twin Shadow, Geographer, LCD Soundsystem, Aloe Blacc, and in general I love classic rock (60s/70s) and hip hop, especially for dancing:)
i love funny movies, bridesmaids was the last movie that i saw that made me laugh out loud....also a bit of a femminist so was happy the all-female cast brought that ish!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

climbing machu picchu was one of the most amazing experiences ever---very spiritual, where you rise to an elevation where you are ABOVE the clouds...beautiful.

i really enjoy meetin other travellers because it is as if we all (being away from our homelands) form our own little community....a global community where we understand and identify with each other's plight--language difficulties, navigation complexities, etc.
