Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people from around the world who have the same interests as me so I can travel and meet you! I am planning a yoga retreat in California this May but also staying an additional 4 or 5 days after to hike, learn to surf, stay in hostels, and meet people. Instagram has inspired me to follow people I am interested in from across the country and people in other countries and I want to take a leap of courage to travel to exotic places Earth has to offer. Unfortuantly, I do not have any friends in my home town that are willing to make commitments like this at such a young age. I want to be able to explore by myself but feel comfortable with knowing at least someone in each place I go.
