About Me

Hey there! I'm a Turkish girl living in Brno, Czech Republic for my master studies on European Politics.
For now, as a student I do not have a house but when I get it, I will be definitely able to host many people :) I am also a published author. I'm currently working on my second book, I work as a trainer and coordinator of international projects funded by European Union, based on sports, refugee issues, entrepreneurship, hate speech. I am an English teacher and also a licenced Zumba instructor!
I lived in Poland and Czech Republic for a while to do summer internships and voluntary works, so I am pretty much okay with getting out of my comfort zone.
If you offer me a couch, I will offer you my help with anything!
My biggest desire is to see the world. That's why I try to travel as much as I do. I am a good listener, a positive person to be your friend! I like contemporary art and music, I'm into all vintage stuff and I like to talk and discuss anything with people. So, please be the sweetest to have me as a friend :)
P.S.: For anybody that is offering to host me should know that I have asthma and heart dysrhytmia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I am still a student, I cannot afford to stay in hostels or hotels in countries and cities I visit, actually, couchsurfing is much more comfortable, social, fun and friendly! I got to meet amazing people who changed my life through couchsurfing, so I am open to meet more and more interesting people!

Interests

I am a very multidimensional person, in my bachelors I studied English language and pedagogy, now I am studying masters on European Politics. At the same time I am an author, a traveler, a Zumba instructor, a coordinator of EU-based awareness-raising projects and events and a person who loves to discover so many different areas in life! I believe that one person shouldn't do the same job for all his / her life, that's why I do multiple jobs and love to learn from people who are also multidimensional.
Currently I am more interested in discovering my writer self, in traveling as much as I can, in exploring more of Europe as I just moved to Europe! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to any kind of music, but my favorite types of songs are soulists, a bit of jazz, a bit of r&b, a bit of old 90s rock!
My all-times favorite movie is Before Sunrise, as it has nostalgic values to me.
My favorite writer is Haruki Murakami and because of his books I am interested in seeing Japan someday!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I danced on the stage in a flashmob 5 minutes after I broke my toe!
I published my first book on my 17th birthday!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can totally teach English and Zumba! (Also my native language Turkish!)

What I Can Share with Hosts

My smile, a hand at house chores, my travel stories and also I can give chances to young people in Europe to participate in my EU-based international projects!
