About Me
Currently in Bcn :)
I love animals, bikes, beer, being outside and meeting people from different cultures. I've travelled quite a lot around Argentina, a bit around latin america, the US, and Europe. I've been working for a few years in a local NGO around the theme of sustainability. My main role has been co-coordinating a project to get people to see bikes as a legitimate form of transportation, as well as trying to get our governmen to take action in creating infrastructure for safe cycling.
I like taking photos. I'm a skeptical (sometimes a cynicist) but I'm also greatful for my opportunities, and can appreciate small pleasures in life.
I've always wanted to travel and live in a different country, and this year my partner and I have decided to pack everything into a suitcase and travel Europe, in the hopes of finding a place to live in, and have an experience abroad.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined when I was in my early twenties, after taking a 6 week trip to Europe by myself. I wanted to continue to meet people from different places, and learn about their culture, but I was difficult for me to step out of my comfort zone once I was back home.
I re-joined last year, when we made a decision to quit our jobs and sell our belongings, in order to travel light, slow, and without responsabilities. We want to couchsurf in order to experience cities a bit less as tourists, and a bit more as locals (and, yes, saving some money and prolonging our trip wouldn't be awful either).
