I'm Melissa, a 35 year old teacher from Örebro Sweden. I share this account with my amazing husband/other half Kalle, who has been by my side for 17 years now.
I love Travelling, music, photography, tattoos and street fashion.

I'm a total geekgirl, I love Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Sherlock, Harry Potter, Supernatural, and so on. Geeking is great.

Love the backpacking life, and we've been to 50 countries. Many more to come.
We are going back out travelling in South America between January and July 2025, which means we cannot host anyone during that time, for obvious reasons, but we look forward to try the other side of couchsurfing and meet other hosts during this time, and stay with fun people. Looking forward to another adventure.

I live in a flat in a town called Örebro in mid-Sweden with Kalle. Our place is very central and it's close to everything (About a 3 minute walk to the bus/train station, and a few minutes walk to all the shops and restaurants etc). We're a fun couple who travelled the world together, and we're not the "boring" type of couple, I promise. Haha.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Because we both love to travel, see new things, and we love to meet new people! We're extremely social and love to meet people both abroad and back home. We love to show travelers around our little city.

I'm a big fan of electro swing, but I also love reggae, rock, electro, house, you name it. I'm very open minded when it comes to music, both old and new.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

*Hiking for 4 days to Machu Picchu
*Ziplining in the Andes and in northern Thailand.
*Surfed down a volcano in Nicaragua.
*Hiked to Angkor wat in Cambodia and chitzen itza in Mexico.
*Flew a hangglider over Rio de Janeiro.
*Visited an active volcano on 5100 meters above sealevel in Bolivia.
*Went running on the Bolivian saltflats and cheered at the flamingos at the red lake...
*Climed all the way to Trolltunga, Norway in the rain.
*Went swimming with sharks in Belize
* Went up the eiffeltower and ate snails in Paris.
* Went on a crazy downhill mountainbikeride in the peruvian andes through waterfalls and small roads, really fast from 4600 meters doen to 1000 meters, also with oncoming traffic. Fun!
* Kalle went downhill mountainbiking on the death road in Bolivia, but Melissa got denied because of a cold. Unfair, huh?
