I once returned a pair of glasses to an elderly stranger in the Miami airport that he left at his TGI Friday's booth. I overheard him talk about his trip to Israel. The waitress looked after my suitcase as I ran over to the departure screens. After calculating possible routes to Tel Aviv (none were direct) I took a chance on which gate and terminal he might be at. Praying I had made the right choice, I arrived at his gate just in time to see him digging through his luggage and wondering where he left his glasses. Handing them to him was such a surreal moment.
