Overview
About Me
I'm a young-but-not-so-much adventurer with a prescription for travel and self-exploration.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to travel and meet new people.
Interests
I have a LOT of interests.
My current challenge in life is learning to DO LESS, but do it BETTER.
To chill, I like to read, watch old movies or TV series, or listen to music. Keep reading to find out more ;)
When active I like to dance, bike, hike and swim.
Salsa is my favourite dance by far, but when I don't have the energy, I dance bachata. I'd like to learn kizomba.
My best bike was an specialised ariel, but it got stolen :(
Sometimes I practise juggling or playing an instrument (guitar, cajon) The guitar has been a passion since I was a child, I only wish I could dedicate more time to it, but then again... playing it when I feel it is what I love about it.
Cajon started as a way for me to learn percussion to improve my timing while dancing, but has become a favourite for stress relief.
Othertimes I take part in movies and independent art projects.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite movie is Cloud Atlas, it aligns very closely with my outlook on life. I think each action we take carries meaning and we should be considerate of that as we move through life.
I also like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas for the hidden social commentary, Shawshank Redemption for the resilient spirit, and Forest Gump for the detached wisdom they carry.
My favourite book at the moment is 'Be Water, My Friend' by Shannon Lee; though I am also reading: Catcher in the Rye and Blue Butterflies (by Pavel Vejinov)
Be Water is great life advice and has become a point of reference for me.
Catcher in the Rye I found pretentious but indicative of the age it was written in (both in terms of Holdon's age; and the period of time the book was written)
Blue Butterflies I find is collection of science fiction stories with some amazing visual story telling and speculation on the nature of existence. Ayuverdic yogis would be proud.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation on the nature of life and existence with a healthy dose of absurdist humour is always a given.
On top of that, my background is Balkan so I know the value of good hospitality.
I always take my shoes off when I enter a home, and make sure to clean up after myself while I'm there.
I can also help with general household duties, cleaning, shopping, feeding the pets, warding off evil and spreading good vibes
I used to be a language teacher, so I we can do a language exchange with some games if you'd like!
