Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Would dig meeting new people, and hopefully save some money while doing so :) When I first moved away from home at 17, I stayed in a youth hostel for quite a bit and met so many amazing people. I'd like to get back to that aspect of my life, and build community as well.

Interests

Hiking, exploring nature, enjoying good food and spending time with friends. I'm seeking to travel more often and meet nice people as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I dig a range of music - EBM, '80s music, industrial, downtempo, stuff like Enya, really a wide range. I enjoy most music except some newer style country music and most rap and hip hop (exception of older hip hop)

I like reading, but can jump around to different books a bit! Doing a lot of learning right now and am currently enrolled in a Nutrition course through Nutritional Therapy Association, so that's influencing my reading quite a bit (and taking up a lot of my reading time haha!)

I like all kinds of movies, really except for the exception of gory, violence and gun/weapon heavy films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently went on my first International trip to Costa Rica, in May. It was so wonderful! It has helped me to decide that I would like to move abroad within the next several years. It has informed my world view, and I'm in the process now of culling a list of places worldwide to decide where I'd best belong.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to cook, and am currently a student in a Bio-Individualized Nutrition program. I make healthy food, and would love to make you some meals or yummy desserts!
