I grew up in middle Tennessee which is located in the southeastern part of the U.S. I am currently studying music and culture at the University of Tennessee. I also play clarinet and some ukulele.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I am participating in the Semester at Sea program, which will allow me to see the world and work towards my degree at the same time. Of course, I am also on a budget. I want to use hostels and couchsurfing to cut down on expenses. Also, I figure the hosts and other people I meet while couchsurfing will be able to give me better advice on what to do and see in each country I visit.

I like most genres of music but my favorites are: rock, heavy metal, klezmer (type of Jewish dance music), and celtic.

Favorite movies: Guardians of the Galaxy, How to Train your Dragon (both movies), Brave, Lion King, Up, anything by Quentin Tarantino, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings.

Favorite shows: Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Bob's Burgers, Star Trek, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Fairy Tail, Bleach.
