I'm a nursing student at Rush University in Chicago, IL. I consider myself caring and people-oriented. I like getting to know people, having good conversation and learning. From a living standpoint, I try to be as unobtrusive as possible when staying with others, but I love company. So, if you'd like to accompany me on my adventures, please ask! Generally while roaming, I do a few of the classic touristy things, but I often prefer enjoying the local area with new people I've met.

I used to travel all the time but I let work get the better of my time for the last several years. I'm trying to reclaim that part of me. Being a student on a tight budget is how I found this app, but having the opportunity to meet people from the area is a huge draw.

For those of you who haven't heard of it, it entails fundraising for childhood cancer research and shaving your head in solidarity. Before I shaved it off, my hair was down to my waist. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
