Overview
About Me
I'm traveling Europe for the majority of 2016. I'm down for good conversation, practicing other languages, and going out for the odd pint. I'm also super happy reading, crafting, taking pictures, wandering, climbing on stuff, and laughing about anything and everything.
Also I'm queer friendly, feminist, and open-minded/positive whenever possible :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe in the importance of cultural exchange when traveling, and want to get the locals' perspective rather than just being a tourist. :)
I don't have my own place right now, so I can't host, but I hope to someday!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - Because there are too many bands to choose from, I'll give you genres I enjoy: indie rock, indie folk, and folk rock; most things acoustic; the kind of oldies that make you want to dance and sing along; electro-swing; vocal jazz... I'm open to most anything, and minored in music in college because I can geek out about it to no end.
Movies - Harold and Maude, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Meet Joe Black, Benny & Joon, In Bruges, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, and lots of others. Love movies.
Books - Mainly fantasy fiction (currently reading the Wheel of Time series, and currently recommending The Name of the Wind to everyone). Also Candide, Siddhartha, things by Vonnegut... All things witty or beautiful.
