ABOUT ME

Laid-back native Californian working for a restaurant group during the day and having a blast playing tour guide on the side.

I love to explore and to discover new things about places you thought already felt all too familiar. Love going out and experiencing all that a city has to offer. Food is important to me: I love anything authentically traditional or daringly creative. Anything with flavors that turn my tongue on without making my eyes tear up.

I'm interested in getting to know and understand people from all walks of life. CouchSurfing has already helped me to do a bit of this, but I'd love to make some more friends all around the world so that we can all learn more about life from each other.

PHILOSOPHY

I am more interested in learning about a place by experiencing a piece of its local life (and many many pieces of its culinary delights), rather than working through standard tour books like a check list. It is the memories you create with new friends in new settings that makes traveling unforgettable, not rushed snapshots of the big sites you see everywhere.
