I want to learn as many languages as I can, and experience as many cultures as possible!

ABOUT ME

I work in software development (specifically on the web), and I love learning languages. My first language is English, but I've taught myself Norwegian, and I also know a little bit of Italian and Japanese, and a pinch of Portuguese and Nepali.

I love learning--just about any topic can interest me, and the more I can learn about it the better.

I spend a lot of time on the internet, but I do love going out at night and hanging with friends over a drink, or maybe going dancing.

I don't smoke (cigarettes or otherwise) as a personal choice, but I understand that a lot of people do. :) My choice is not a judgement against you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to this community--I was intrigued when a mutual friend mentioned that it was ok if we slept on his couch because he was part of the couch surfer's network anyway. Turns out this is a huge community spanning more than just San Diego! :) I'm excited to be here and try this out. At the moment, I don't have a couch I can donate as I live with roommates, but I'm hopeful that one day I'll be able to share back with others. :)
