我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I LOVE life:)) and strive to live it to the fullest. I keep an open heart and mind and crave adventures and exploration. I come from a tiny town in the redwoods by the sea and have always wanted to travel the world and help in anyway I can. Since I had kids young, I haven't been able to do as much traveling as I had imagined I would have by now... but.. now they're older, making it easier to get away:)

Healing arts.. The human bodymind/ soul fascinates me. I have been studying bodywork for 10 years now and still have so much to learn! Exciting:))
I love to surf. The ocean is my cathedral. The way the sunlight reflects brilliant sparkles on a glassy day.. being immersed in the elements.. and of course the thrill and connection with the waves.. all drive me to the beach on a daily, for at the least a check:)
I also love to dance. I started taking classes at age 3 and now teach the kids in the after school program. It's awesome to watch them glow from the great energy that dance can induce. A true freedom of expression.
I could list many others.. but it just comes down to the fact that I am truly interested in life and all it has to offer...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have been raising my two children as a strong, independent, single mom. And think I'm doin a damn good job... so to me, that's pretty amazing:)

Let's see.. I can teach dance, bodywork, surf.. some yoga..
In the near future I'd love to learn to rock climb, play the guitar, scuba dive, sail, ect.. I'd also love to learn the dances, languages, food, and knowledge of cultures around the world.
