About Me
Hello! I grew up in an international family (New Zealand, America, Germany) and am always eager to travel. After graduating from Dartmouth College I made my way to Seattle and tried on the whole 'career' adult life as a software engineer at Microsoft. After 3 years I had learned a lot -- my skills as an engineer had grown tremendously -- but most importantly I learned that I did not find such a life fulfilling! I'm currently 'mucking around' with personal projects and planning longer term travel. I love geeking out about computer science, education, cooking, and financial independence!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking to meet up with other travelers, and host people while I'm still here in Seattle! I live with my boyfriend and dog in an apartment about two miles from downtown and the Space Needle and on some main bus routes so it's a pretty decent place to stay while seeing the city.
