Chi sono

ABOUT ME

I am new to couch surfing. It is my first contact.I was born in Rio de Janeiro and have lived in the US for many years mostly in the Bay Area, California.
I am photographer, videographer and also work with graphic design. I have a BA from Industrial Design and Visual Communication from the Design School of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (Esdi). Of course...I am a traveler and love to experience living in different cultures and meeting new interesting people. My biggest interests are exploring the unknown of the world and trying to understand as well as studying the hidden potential of the mind.

Interessi

I am a multimedia artist, photographer, videographer, graphic designer, etc....
To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I reached the source of the Ganges River (India) with a partner in the day of my birthday in 2001. Out of that experience we did a documentary titled "Ganga Ma: A Pilgrimage to the Source" that has been shown at several film festivals and won the best documentary at the Taos Film festival in 2002. I am in the process of getting ready to publish a multimedia book with my photographs of this experience.
Another time I spent 6 months in India to captures the lives and journeys of vanishing nomadic communities who are believed to share common ancestors with the European Roma (Gypsies). This documentary has also been show at several film festival including the Museum of Modern Art in New York.It is available at vimeo.com/artnetwork
