ABOUT ME

I'm open-minded. I love that every person has their own perspective and their own outlook on life. I don't hide very much, because i think that honesty is almost always the best thing.

I love to think about the "deep" things in life, which means i probably sometimes don't make sense to people who are able to see life in its simplicity. Life is almost always complex for me, but i try not to get too wrapped up in that, because i know that sometimes it can and should be simple.

Ok, maybe that's too deep... How about this: I'm easy-going and willing to try (pretty much) anything. For me, the most important thing is to really "be there", wherever i am and whoever i'm with. I've been a vegetarian for close to 2 years, but I don't have anything against meat-eaters.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It's been a while since I surfed. I think it's a fabulous idea and has so much potential for bringing people and cultures together. I love that it offers such a beautiful alternative to the "tourist" option.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with 3 wonderful people in the space of 4 wonderful days in Marseille, Taggia, and Milan. Even though my stay was so short at each place, my hosts went out of their way to make sure I felt at home and got to know their home-town at least a little bit. And I even met another couch surfer along the way.

This is such an amazing community, and I look forward to having more opportunities to get involved and to give back as much as I've already received.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My boyfriend proposed to me while I was flying a glider at 1700 feet. That was pretty amazing.
