About Me

CURRENT MISSION

find an army of minions and conquer the world!

ABOUT ME

Hi!
Being half Bolivian and half French, I've always been interested in languages. I've been traveling since childhood and meeting new people and getting to know new cultures is how I get a kick out of life!
I should warn you that I love to laugh and that when I do, it's pretty loud but hey, at least it's sincere :D I can be shy at first but once I am comfortable then nothing can stop me. I should also tell you that saying stupid stuff is my thing, I think we should all learn to be more stupid :P

PHILOSOPHY

I just go with the flow. Having a good feeling is very important to me and I like to just enjoy life. People tend to call me mellow... I guess that gives you a pretty good idea of my personality...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have recently moved to Santa cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, and I am living with my cousin which means I unfortunately cannot host.
For now I try to join in CS activities and meet people from the CS community, I am also trying to organise some more cultural events in SCZ.
As traveling is always in my mind, I hope to couch surf some more. Who knows... you might have the pleasure of hosting me ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been going to meetings in Montreal while I was living there for an internship, and also during my NYC trip. I've met really awesome and interesting people.

In Strasbourg, I lived with one of the CS moderators and through him I have met a lot of interesting travellers who went by this beautiful city, each experience was a blessing and I really miss that atmosphere.

London is where I really had a chance to offer my couch as I had one in my bedroom and had found my house through CS so in a friendly CSer environement. I have met really interesting people through it and made great memories, it is also a great way to discover this city which just never stops on giving.

Each experience was great and I have learned a lot, laughed and partied with amazing people ! What would my life be without CS ??? I wonder...

Interests

aahhh I'll try to focus :S
I would start with music, I don't think I'd be happy without it and whenever I can, I try to listen to new sounds. Sometimes if I love a song too much then the whole world disappears and I can't focus on anything else but I try to control myself.
Next would be the movies and not the big Hollywood productions (although it's nice from time to time) but I like old movies or artsy stuff. This love is one of the reasons I have chosen to study subtitling because it combines two of my interests.
This would bring me to languages because I love them !!! Playing with words is one thing I really enjoy :)
I also love to cook and enjoy food from all over the world so if you want to trade recipes, please contact me.
I'll finish with the obvious: traveling ! But I wouldn't be here if I didn't, would I ? hehe

Music, Movies, and Books

I feel like I am writing too much already so if you want to know then just ask, also this is a hard one, almost philosophical question ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have recently been to Cusco to visit the world famous Machupicchu, a lifelong dream!!!
We organised the trip starting from La Paz, Bolivia (much cheaper than flying to Lima ) from there we took the bus (or flota as we say in Bolivia) passing through Copacabana (Bolivia), and Puno (Peru) on the TitiKaka lake. Then we got to Cusco which is an amazing city. We had an inca jungle tour planned for 4 days that included biking, rafting, zip lining (which we couldn't do because of our budget) and a lot of hiking through the jungle. This was an amazing experience, we have met wonderful people and enjoyed great trhills along the way. The culminating point was seeing Machupicchu on the 4th day and thinking: I made it!
Now I can die in peace... althoug I plan on seeing a lot more before I do :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to share my knowledge of languages in exchange for yours :)
As I said before, cooking is something I really enjoy doing, so I can teach you what I know and you can teach me what you know (if you want to of course).
Then we could go party all night long and shake our bodies on the dance floor (preferably to Latino music but I am open to anything)...
