About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Yikes! Loaded question. Now I am searching how to be productive, hoping that traveling will help me identify a route.

ABOUT ME

I enjoy being productive and active. When I am home, I enjoy bike rides to get ice cream and going on photography excursions. I'm pretty easy going and am a 'go-with-the-flow' kinda chica. If you know a spot that you love to go dancing, have dinner, enjoy the view, have an adventure (!!!!!), than I am most likely and always DOWN. Exploring a new place is the best.

I can burn the midnight oil, but I also enjoy early mornings, there is something about being up before everyone that is so satisfying.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything happens for a reason.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I use CS to network with people in an area that i travel to. I like to check out the obvious attractions in a new city, who shouldnt go see the statue of liberty in NYC, but I am also in search of the nitty gritty, the underbelly perhaps, of how a city works. I want to live like the locals, and in turn, reach out to them through CS. orale!

Interests

Lately I have been in the kitchen a lot. Cooking, baking, and most recently PICKLING. I believe there is so much culture to be found through food, so I am usually spending my time thinking of the next snack or meal. Especially when traveling, you never know if you're going to be able to return somewhere, so if it looks good, I wanna try it. That is also why I am so fascinated by markets, I love the abundance of them. When I'm traveling, finding the mercados are one of my hobbies.

I am really into photography. When i'm home, you can usually find me riding around town on my bicicleta with a camera around my neck and my phone in my jacket blasting some tunes. It doesn't take much to make me happy: a couple of chela's, a snack, a game, an excursion, adventure, you name it, I am down!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dia de los Muertos, Oaxaca, 2009. I love that holiday and spending it in Oaxaca was one of the most memorable times. You can't beat that energy. Most recently, I hiked through the jungle in the Yucatan and found a cave. My friend told me Mayans would hide there from the Spanish. There is so much history in Mexico!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Japan, Mexico, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
